Join for a second year as we deck the halls of valhalla!

When winter comes, all men fear this will be the winter of that begins Ragnorok, the Fimbulwinter. Fimbulwinter, the mighty winter, the winter that will mark the battle of the gods, and the death of the world we know. As the days grew shorter, we all despair…but from despair comes hope! Hope reborn as the shadow of night gets shorter, hope that Ragnorok will never come! When the days start to get longer again, all Vikings get together and Deck the Hall​s​ of Valhalla! A celebration that the winter is starting to recede.

Join us for a day of Viking classes, a Norse inspired Feast Board provided by Lord Brandr Aronsson and entertainment by the wonderful Bard, Cedar -san the Barefoot.

If you are interested in teaching a Viking/Norse themed class, please reach out to our Class Coordinator Anneke Walmarsdotter at edelmaned@gmail and let her know what you would like to teach.

The Feast Board this year will have some of the favorites from last year as well as some new dishes. The Skyr will be plentiful as well as some dishes for the vegetarians in our group.

Break out your best mead as we will have a mead tasting. Nothing better than sharing some mead with friends on a cold winter day.

The Old Stone House is a historic site from the Battle of Brooklyn and the Occupation from 1776-1783. Please be considerate as you go throughout the building. The first floor is a small museum which is free to public and open from 11am-4pm. Please feel free to take the opportunity to peruse!

Due to site restrictions, we are capping this event to 60 people. PREREGISTRATION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. Pre-reg deadline is 1/1/18.

ACCESSIBILITY: The event will be held on the 2nd floor of the Old Stone House. There is a flight of stairs to contend with. There are NO elevators or escalators.
